About
Wesfield Academy is named for the founding pastor of Bethel Church, Wesley "Butch" Farnum, who dreamed of having a school on the property for decades. Rich in history, the land was once owned and farmed by the Farnum family. 5261 Columbia Road was first home to Bethel Church in 1989 and to the new academy in 2019. When considering what to name the school, the administrator, a spiritual daughter of Farnum's, thought it only fitting for Wesley (Pastor Butch) to name the school. He donned the academy, "Wesfield", which means "fields of prosperity". The school has lived up to its name! It opened in August of 2019 with just 3 students and now has an enrollment of 26 amazing students!
Wesfield is housed inside Bethel Church and exists to partner with parents to provide an excellent, customized, Christian education for their children, where the Academy and the parents work in tandem for the benefit and betterment of the learner in all areas of life! |
